Cuyahoga County Courts

  • Common Pleas Court
    The General Division of the
    Common Pleas Court is located in the Justice Center, on the southwest corner of Lakeside and Ontario at 1200 Ontario Street, in downtown Cleveland. This is a tall 23-story building.  On-street parking is very limited; if you drive, you should plan to park in a lot or garage. The Justice Center is only two blocks from Public Square, and is near to several RTA bus and rapid transit lines.
     
  • Juvenile Court – Main Building
    At
    2163 E. 22nd Street in Cleveland, a larger recently re-bricked  building at the corner of E. 22 and Cedar. Park at the meters or at the lot across E. 22 St.

  • Juvenile Court – Metzenbaum Center
    A one story whitish building at
    3343 Community College Avenue in Cleveland. There is a large black gate around the building and parking lot, and free parking is available at the building.

  • Juvenile Court – Whitlach Building
    A 3 story light brick building at
    1910 Carnegie Avenue in Cleveland. Parking in the lot in the rear of the building for $1.00.

  • Domestic Relations Court
    In the “Old Courthouse” downtown at
    One Lakeside Avenue,  a white stone building across from the Justice Center on Lakeside Avenue

  • Child Support Enforcement Agency
    Located in the Virgil E. Brown building at 1640 Superior Avenue in Cleveland. This is a tall building with a yellow facade, across the street from the Plain Dealer. There is a parking lot or on-street metered parking.

Cleveland Municipal Court

 Summit County Courts


  • Common Pleas Court
    The Summit County Courthouse is at
    209 South High Street in downtown Akron
  • Juvenile Court
    In the
    Kannel Juvenile Justice Center at 650 Dan St., Akron Ohio, 44310
  • Domestic Relations Court
    The Domestic Relations Court is located in the New Summit County Courthouse Addition at
    205 South High Street, Akron, Ohio 44308. The magistrates' courtrooms are on the third floor and the judges' courtrooms are on the fourth floor. The assignment office and Family Court Services offices are on the second floor.
  • Child Support Enforcement Agency
    Located in the
    Ohio Building at 175 South Main Street in Akron. They recommend parking in the Summit County Parking Garage, which you can access from South High Street. Go to the 4th floor entrance to the Ohio Building and take the elevator to the first floor.  CSEA window is at the front of the Main Street entrance to the Ohio Building.
